HOUSE 13 Threat Ranking
What kills nights first — windows, darkness, closets, and the knock.
HOUSE 13 is not a unit gacha. The “tier list” players need is a threat ranking: which failure ends a night fastest, and which one you can delay with a habit. This hub ranks the named house threats, the door Impostor, and the three official modes. Drill into entities and modes after you understand the order below. Pair it with the verification checklist so the ranking becomes a loop instead of a poster.
S — The knock (Impostors)
If you press Let In on the wrong body, the house is already lost. Impostors wear stolen clothes, copy voices, and wait. They are not a chase monster you can outrun in the hallway. They are a UI decision. That is why identify Impostors sits above every other guide for new players. Close Door is free. A wrong green is not.
In co-op, the door is a single point of failure. One teammate who “feels bad” for a stranger can undo six careful nights. Assign a door caller. Everyone else watches windows and closets.
A — The Reacher
The Reacher climbs through windows. The badge text is blunt: you can shut the window until it is already coming through. After that, you are late. Open curtains and ignored rooms are how Easy players die after a perfect door streak. See The Reacher. Rank this A because it is fast, loud, and map-wide. One forgotten pane undoes a clean identification.
A — The Hitcher
The Hitcher settles on you in the dark. You must reach a lit room before the darkness timer ends. HOUSE 13 wants headphones and max graphics for a reason: you need to notice that a room is actually dark, not just moody. Candles, ceiling lamps, and pathing between lit spaces matter more than sprinting. Fullbright scripts try to delete this threat and then fail the real timer. Play it straight with The Hitcher and controls.
The Hitcher is A rather than S because you can route around it. The knock is S because a single misclick has no route around it.
B — The Nester
The Nester wants a closet. Close the closet while it is inside. Once it claims a room, stay out or rapidly flash your light at it. That is a local problem: one bedroom, one wardrobe. It is still a wipe if you hide in the claimed room during a panic. The Nester is B because you can isolate it. Do not upgrade it to A by leaving every closet open “for loot later.”
Screenshot language from the official gallery is consistent: a long-clawed figure in a wardrobe, a dark body folding through a window, a pale face on the ceiling of the dining room, a crawling shape on the stair void. Those are not random jump scares. They are the three named threats plus the Hitcher’s travel paths.
C — Panic routing
Not a monster, but a wipe cause. Players die because they sprint through dark stairs to reach a window, pick up the Hitcher, then open a closet “real quick” and donate a Nester. The survive the night loop is door → windows → lights → closets, in that order, every cycle. Breaking the order is a C-tier threat that farms A-tier deaths.
Modes as a separate ladder
Easy is six nights. Medium is twelve. Hard is eighteen. Those are not cosmetic labels. Badge copy says Easy is “stay inside and verify everyone,” Medium is the emergency that lasted longer than you counted, and Hard is the night nobody came. Rank modes on the modes page. Do not jump to Hard because a walkthrough title said “ending.” The Kacperos walkthrough is a teaching tool, not a skip.
How to use this ranking in a live night
- Door first. If someone is knocking, nothing else is S-tier until you Close Door or verify.
- Windows second. Reacher does not wait for your conversation.
- Lights third. Hitcher timer starts when you commit to a dark hall.
- Closets fourth. Nester can wait a few seconds; a claimed room cannot be your hiding spot.
If you play 32-player servers, assign those four jobs. The players hub explains callouts. After a death, note which letter killed you. Most people blame Impostors when they actually died to a window. The ranking only helps if you log the real cause.
HOUSE 13 is a released Roblox survival game with online co-op. Threats scale with mode length, not with a gacha banner. Recheck this hub after the September 2026 notes if Dread Forge adds a fourth named entity. Until then, master the four letters above and you will outlive the comment section.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common HOUSE 13 questions.
What is the most dangerous HOUSE 13 threat?
A wrong Let In. Then windows (Reacher) and darkness (Hitcher). See entities.
Is The Nester weaker than The Reacher?
It is more local. A claimed closet is still a wipe if you hide there. Read The Nester.
Should I learn Hard before Easy?
No. Easy is six nights on purpose. Use the mode ranking.
Does co-op change the tier list?
Threats stay the same. Jobs split. See co-op.
